Grenache Blanc

Grenache Blanc is a Mediterranean white grape closely associated with southern France and northeastern Spain, thriving in warm, dry climates with abundant sunlight. It is a moderately vigorous variety that produces medium to large clusters of thick-skinned berries, ripening relatively early while retaining balanced acidity when grown in cooler, elevated, or well-ventilated sites. The vine performs best in well-drained, rocky soils—particularly limestone, schist, and sand—where it can develop concentration without losing freshness. Grenache Blanc wines range from pale straw to light gold, with naturally moderate acidity, a generous palate, and flavors of stone fruit, citrus, herbs, and subtle spice.
